The “future” is the very bread and butter of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation (GGBCF). Recently GGBCF’s Community Engagement Program Officer, Rashad Cobb, shared with us his vision for a Community Foundation determined to invest in a better Green Bay community. “We have an opportunity to shape what a leader looks like in our community,” he said. “We’ve launched a task force on diverse and inclusive leadership. First, we have to help diverse individuals see themselves as leaders. Then we help agencies connect with those prospective leaders.” He explained that it doesn’t always work that way. “Right now, you have to be in the right circles before someone asks you to be on a board or committee – that’s what we need to change.”

Prevea Health’s new Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion, Renita Robinson. You might
remember this visionary change agent as the Chief Executive Officer of the YWCA of Greater
Green Bay. She’s moved into healthcare leadership at this critical “COVID moment,” helping
Prevea learn what it can from tough times and shape the best possible future for itself and the
community.

Craig Dickman, a native son of Green Bay who earned his first degree right here at University of Wisconsin—Green Bay, ranks among our area’s key visionaries. The managing director of TitletownTech (a partnership between the Green Bay Packers and Microsoft), Craig has developed a successful innovation-focused practice working with corporate partners and entrepreneurs to create, build, and commercialize new capabilities and ventures. His watchword is “innovation.”
